Verizon announced some new phones for the upcoming holiday season.
They will be offering the Voyager (VX1000) made by LG
Electronics which is sort of like an iPhone with some other features. It has a large touch screen and full Web browser with faster Web access
than the IPhone. It hinges open to reveal a small computer keypad and a
second screen.
The LG Venus has a standard phone keypad and similar features to the Voyager, with
a touch screen and a 2 megapixel camera.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8130 smartphone is the first high speed BlackBerry with voice, text, data, GPS and turn by turn directions.
The Verizon Wireless Juke by Samsung is a music player/phone combo with 2 Gigabytes of storage and Bluetooh stereo capabilities. It will be available in blue, red and
teal at launch.
The Verizon news release calls them "the perfect blend of innovation and cool."

supports .mp3, .wma and unprotected .aac files. Other must-have

accommodates up to 8 GB of expandable memory. With The Venus, customers
don't have to substitute functionality for style -- the device is
