Smashing Flash Lite Games on Verizon

verizon.jpgVerizon Wireless, and Smashing Ideas, Inc announced the launch of Smashing Games. Smashing Games allows Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers to choose from a variety of Flash Lite mobile games.

With Smashing Games, customers can browse through featured, new and best selling games using the Dpad (up, down, left, right, and "Action" keys) on their wireless phones. In addition, customers can view information and demo each game before purchase, and play and manage purchased content right from the application.

Verizon Wireless customers can select from a variety of games with Smashing Games, including:

  • Flight of the Hamsters -- from Cartoon Network Mobile: players help the hamsters from the Kids Next Door Treehouse take to the skies for some daredevil fun.
  • Mac's Match-Up -- from Cartoon Network Mobile: as Mac's friends rush down the staircase to greet him, players try to match them up to score big points.
  • Fickleblox -- fast-moving puzzle fun as players try to match up chains or groups of colored blox for big scores.
  • Go Sushi -- get Yoshi-san back to work on time by helping him find the correct sushi during lunch.
  • RUNE MAGE -- an addictive puzzle game featuring 25 levels of intense game play across five stages.

As part of this launch, Get It Now customers will also be able to experience never-before-seen Flash Lite games from Cartoon Network New Media. Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers can purchase and download Smashing Games from the Get Fun & Games shopping aisle in the Get It Now virtual store for $3.49 one-time use, $7.99 for three uses and $9.99 for five uses. Smashing Games is available on a number of popular Get It Now-capable phones, including the MOTORAZR V3c, MOTORAZR V3m and the MOTOKRZR K1m; the LG VX8300 and VX8100, The enV by LG, Chocolate by LG and The V by LG; and the Samsung SCH-a950, SCH- a930, SCH-a970, and the SCH-a990. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime or megabyte charges may apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now- enabled phone and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.
