Fuel Cell Cell Phone Prototype Still Running

Fuel cell maker Angstrom Power and mobile phone maker Motorola have teamed up to create a prototype mobile phone that runs on a hydrogen fuel cell. The hydrogen fuel cell that extracts hydrogen from water and then extracts electrons from the hydrogen.

The company claims that the fuel cells will offer a runtime approximately twice that of a traditional lithium battery.

The prototype has been running for six months.
