Qualcomm MCP to be Installed in Navistar Trucks

Qualcomm Incorporated  and
Navistar Inc., a subsidiary of Navistar International Corporation , a holding company whose affiliates produce International
brand commercial vehicles and other vehicle brands, announced an
alliance to deliver Qualcomm's Mobile Computing Platform (MCP)
installed on Navistar's trucks beginning in the fall.

Under the agreement, Navistar dealers will resell Qualcomm's MCP
throughout the United States. The collaboration will enable Navistar
customers to purchase International brand trucks with the MCP installed
by the dealer, making it easier than ever to access Qualcomm's
OmniVisionsm Transportation services. "This alliance is a milestone for both Qualcomm and Navistar, and our
customers will reap many benefits from this combined offering," said
Norm Ellis, vice president of transportation and logistics sales and
service for Qualcomm Enterprise Services. "Trucking companies will now
have expanded access to our OmniVision Transportation suite of
services, and customers can take advantage of the added support they
get from a combined International dealer and Qualcomm customer support
network."

With drivers and fleet owners relying on mobile information more than
ever, OmniVision Transportation services enhance safety, efficiency and
productivity while improving the in-cab experience and quality of life
for drivers. Delivered via Qualcomm's in-cab hardware, software, and
network infrastructure, OmniVision Transportation services enable the
