Samsung Behold Rated 3.5 out of 5 by Wireless and Mobile News Review of Reviews
The Samsung Behold holds a lot of promise as mid-level feature phone for users who want a 5 megpixel camera, multimedia capabilities, email syncing, Bluetooth, GPS, and some web browsing. One reviewer thought the full-featured camera was better than the Moto ZN5 while another thought the Samsung Behold camera was not as good as the ZN5.
All reviewers commented on the great 3G speed of T-Mobile with the Samsung Behold. They also noticed that all features were not top of the line. Web browsing was called lackuster because it defaults to mobile-friendly WAP pages when they are available. The on-screen QWERTY keyboard is small but functional.
Due to the constant iPhone comparision reviewers did not like that the Samsung Behold lacks Wi-Fi. It's mutimedia functions as music player were fine although it requires a propriety headphone jack. The Smasung Behold comes in rose and espresso and is considered by one reviewer to be a fun phone. Call quality was excellent.

Kent German at CNET rated the Samsung Behold 3.5 out of 5 for its design, responsive touchscreen, UI, features, quality 5 megapixel camera, and fast 3G network. He didn't like the incovnenient location of the memory slot, average speakerphone quality, lack of Wi-Fi and sub-par web browsing. It is a close cousin to the Samsung Omnia with TouchWhiz, a music player and comes in rose or espresso. He referred to the 240x400 pixel screen as small but bright and beautiful. The on screen QWERTY keyboard is bit small but most users shouldn't have a problem. Headset jack is proprietary. Good features include PC Syncing, web POP 3 email, IM, GPS and stero Bluetooth. The camera has a ton of features and will automatically take another photo if it sees a frown. Photo quality was very good but video was a bit grainy.Call quality was admirable.
Sascha Segan at PcMag also rated the Samsung Behold 3.5 out of 5 for "wow' factors of the multimedia featured phone while other phones are better at certain features. He likens it to the Samsung Instinct and LG Dare. The webpages default to WAP pages when available.The camera isn't as good as the Moto ZN5 but better than most phones. The copy syncing software worked well. Video looked better in landscape mode. He calls it fun and states that it may be worth the price.
Told Hasselton at LaptopMag rated the Samsung Behold 3.5 out of 5 for it being the first 5 megapixel phone camera (as good a Moto ZN5), TouchWhiz interface, lackluster web browser and great 3G speeds. The accelerometer only works for photo viewing, video, or the Web. He also didn't like having to take off the cover to get at the MicroSD. He liked the TouchWhiz interface but found it to be sluggish. The Telenav GPS worked well for walking directions.
