Motorola is also launching the touchscreen MOTOSURF A3100, a Windows Mobile 6.1 Quad-band GSM "touch tablet" smartphone at CES.
The MOTOSURF A3100 smartphone supports 3G, WiFi, Google Maps, messaging and email. It has 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera. It is operated via a stylus, trackball or finger touch.
The Surf has a customizable icon-based carousel, and has with one-touch access to Facebook.
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional allows access to personal and corporate email, documents and PC-like browsing with Internet Explorer/Opera. Advanced features include video and aGPS.
Windows Media Player enables music video and image transfers from a PCs easily.
The MOTOSURF A3100 smartphone will be available in multiple regions beginning in Q1 2009, including Asia and Latin America.
