T-Mobile G-1 users now have a new browser with lots of features Opera Mini. The Opera Mini Browser loads pages very quickly, and
has several shortcuts to help you navigate through complex pages. Other features of Opera Mini for Android include:
- Opera Mini features OperaLink
which allows you to synchronize your bookmarks and Speed Dial with a
computer running Opera 9.50 or other mobile device running Opera Mini. - The handy Notes functionality from the Opera Desktop Web browser just got more portable through Opera Link. All of your notes are available in Opera Mini directly from the Bookmarks menu.
- You can upload and download files through Opera Mini and save pages for offline viewing.
- Videos are redirected to the system's video player.
- Double tap for zooming in and out.
- Inline URL entry instead of using native input.
- Improved trackball speed.
- All internal pages, like the start page, now have font size extra large for easier navigation.
Opera Mini for Android is available through Android Market. Opera is well know for making mobile browsing a much better experience. They are currently working on version for the BlackBerry Storm.
