As we reported in mid December, Samsung is expected to release an Android phone in the second quarter of the 2009 in North America via Sprint and T-Mobile.
"We are accelerating the development process for Google phone in order
to meet the specific need of local carriers," a Samsung official said
in a statement
Samsung added 30 experts, increasing developers on the project to 80. Sprint also has a development team.
The Samsung Google phone is expected be a full touchscreen phone like the Samsung Omnia and offer Google Map based location
information services, messenger G-Talk, G-mail and
Google Search.
