The Poynt
local search application is now available for the BlackBerry Storm smartphone . The app can be easily accessed from the BlackBerry Storm smartphone's touchscreen, to help find places and also get information about them.  It's a handy app for finding movies along with information about those movies. And, they will have restaurant information in the future.

We named it our "Free BlackBerry Storm App of the Day" because it puts maps, listings and information together on the BlackBerry Storm screen without a lot of fuss.

has business listings and movie
information integrated with the GPS. You can see results listed by distance from your location. The app gives you the ability to add to the address book or calendar, call directly, and browse websites with the click of a button as well as get directions from anywhere, to anywhere in North America.
 
Once you enter search terms, then you can
find businesses and movies near your location. You can get phone and address
information as well as more features such as
movie reviews and trailers, and purchasing movie tickets.
