Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman Phone with 8 Megapixel Camera and MediaGo

W995_9.jpgSony Ericsson is showing the  W995 Walkman phone at Mobile World Congress. The W995 has a 8.1-megapixel camera, A-GPS, WiFi and a 2.6-inch QVGA scratch-resistant display. 

The W995 offers DLNA support, 118MB of onboard storage and a Memory Stick M2 slot; there'll be an 8GB M2 card in the box. The assisted-GPS with supports Google Maps, Wi-Fi,

A new service is Sony's MediaGo software, that shares media with the PS3 over WiFi, and operates with Sony's PlayNow services, including downloaded movies purchased on  PCs.

The 8.1-megapixel loaded with Cyber-shot features: a 16x digital zoom, auto-focus, face detection a flash, image stabilization, Sony's PictBridge, a video recorder and picture blogging.
The W995  has kickstand for video watching. It als has stereo Bluetooth, messaging and e-mail, a voice recorder, an FM radio, phone as modem capability, USB mass storage, PC syncing, instant messaging, organizer applications, a speakerphone, gaming and direct access to YouTube.

The W995 is expect to be release the second quarter of 1009. The W955 will be quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900) and dualband UMTS (900/2100) while the W995a will be quadband GSM and triband UMTS (850/1900/2100, for North America.
