Cricket is now offering  the Cricket A600 USB modem. The AWS compatible A600 features a rotatable USB hinge for
ease of use with any laptop or desktop computer with a USB port.

The A600 also has a microSD memory slot for
removable memory and embedded connection manager software so customers
do not have to use a CD to get the modem up and running.

The device
supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista 32 & 64 bit, and Macintosh OS
10.3.9 or higher. This is the second EVDO USB modem that Cricket has
offered since introducing Broadband service in March of 2008. Cricket
was the first CDMA carrier in the world to offer an AWS wireless modem.

As with Cricket's cell-phone plans, Cricket Broadband customers
never have to sign a contract to take advantage of the unlimited
monthly Internet access. Broadband at Cricket Wireless  starts at about $1.33 a day. This coupon-link special includes your first month free and free shipping.

The A600 is immediately available at most Cricket stores and dealers
for $69.00 after mail-in rebate.

"The Cricket A600 is an extremely powerful device that provides affordable, high-speed broadband Internet services without the hassle of wireline network setup and the service contracts that normally accompany them," said Steve Reifschneider, vice president and general manager of Cricket Broadband. "The USB modem is a versatile tool for customers to take advantage of Cricket's unlimited broadband access plan whether online at home on a desktop or around town on a laptop."
