If you head over the Samsung Movie store that was officially launched today, a few clicks over and you can get over to Samsung Mobile Applications Beta.
This is a full blown web app store. They are selling Symbian and Windows Mobile apps. After you select the Samsung handset, it shows apps available for that handset.
There is a link for developers to sell their apps, to become part of the Samsung Mobile Innovator program where they have just launched a Chinese language site. Samsung announced at Mobile World Congress that they extended support to the Java and Windows Mobile.
In the small print on the bottom it shows that the site is powered by PocketGear, the company that develops app stores for many platforms.
Although this site is for the U.K., we don't know yet if it will be available in the United States. It seem like everyone nowadays wants to get into the app act.
