Samsung will make multiple Android smartphones this year according to Dr. Won-Pyo Hong, Samsung's executive vice president of global product strategy for mobile phones.
The first Android smartphone will be out in June in Europe, while U.S. customers will get Android phones in the second half of the year. The Google Android phones will e sold by T-Mobile and Sprint.
Because of U.S. carrier preferences the two U.S. phones will "totally different," Hong told Forbes.com
He suggested that there will be an added UI on top of Android. Samsung typically adds their TouchWhiz interface on top other operating systems.
