Moto W7 Active Editon Phone Burns Calories, Shakes Things Up

Motorola is launching the Moto W7 and they want to shake
things up. The MOTO W7 Active EditionW7_Black_L3Qtr_m_270x363.jpg senses 
body movements, orientation and hand gestures to perform tasks. They claim it is a way for mobile phone users to stay
active and entertained with fitness features and motion-controlled
games.

They also state the MOTO W7 is designed for those who want a "moving" phone experience,

Users can also access the Web fast with 3G speed.   


The accelerometer senses simple hand
gestures like a quick shake or a tap on the phone. Flip the phone over
to silence the ring of an incoming call, snooze the alarm clock or
pause the music. Shake twice to launch your favorite pre-set
application, such as the music player. Flick right or left to move
between songs and images.

The
pedometer counts steps.Personal Trainer application that lets users
create a personal profile,
set goals, complete workouts and review summary reports. Movtivation
comes with music on the MP3 player. It works with a Bluetooth headset
which makes it hands-free.

Users of the Moto W7 Active Editon can shake,
jump and dance their way through pre-loaded motion-controlled games
using the built-in accelerometer. They can play solo or use the multiple-player
mode on the same device to challenge friends and family.

3G speed
provides faster web browsing, downloading and video streaming. The Moto W7 also has an FM Radio and up to 8GB
optional external memory for more music and media.. SongID technology finds songs. Check out your captured videos or clips from sites like YouTube in full-screen mode and even make video calls to friends and family with a second VGA camera.
