Sidekick LX is now available from T-Mobile to the general public. Previously it was only available through web pre-sale for existing T-Mobile customers. It's thinner than the original SideKicks with 3G speed, GPS, Flash video support, and Twitter and Facebook integration.

The T-Mobile Sidekick LX also has GPS-enabled Live
Search but still has its
iconic swivel design and full QWERTY keyboard in two new colors -- orchid (purple)  and carbon -- and
features the sharpest screen and thinnest profile ever delivered on a
Sidekick.

The new T-Mobile Sidekick LX also has an improved
3.2 megapixel camera and enhanced video capabilities and audio and video streaming .

Their news reelase claims that the Sidekick LX will catch eyes from across the
room with energetic mood lights running horizontally across the top of
the screen so customers can be made aware of messages as they come in. It also provides personalization options including the
ability to record your own ringtone or receive and save them via e-mail.

The Sidekick LX sells for $249 with a two year contract, while previous SideKick owners only have to pay $199. It is available directly from T-Mobile.
