T-Mobile will be officially pushing the update to Android week and it has a lot of enhancements.
When the OTA is sent, Android phone will prompt you to download and install the update as soon as it becomes available. T-Mobile is supposed to update operating system to U.S.-based Android G1 owners this coming Monday or later.
- Spelling suggestions as well as auto-correction while typing.
- Virtual keyboard has tactile feed and works in either portrait or landscape mode and
changes based on the phone's orientation. It will work with any app. - Say your search with search by Voice.
- Video recording - just point and shoot.
- Video sharing with video sharing button for Gmail, Messaging or directly YouTube
- Video uploading is done in the background.
- Photo uploading to Picasa.
- Home Screen Widgets for fast Calendar, Music Player and Google Search widgets.
- Faster browser.
- Bluetooth - fast pairing and stereo Bluetooth are now supported.
- More widgets will be available from the Android Market.
- Live Folders - the contents of a Live Folder updates in real-time as new data is created on the device or in the cloud.
