According to Bloomberg, Palm Inc is still working on guidelines for Mojo and their app catalog.
"We clearly have to have a product we're proud of,"
said CIO Mitch Allen, in an interview, "Taking a little bit more time right now does trump
the excitement that comes from having something that people can
play with today."
Several thousand developers have applied to Palm Pre app developers and about 500 already have access to
Palm's WebOS development software before the SDK release later this summer.
Palm is very happy that over one million apps were downloaded from the Palm Pre app catalog, in 18 days since the launch of the Palm Pre.
Analysts estimate that around 150,000 Palm Pre phones have been purchased so far.
