BlackBerry Desktop Manager Coming for Macs in September

Inside BlackBerry the Official RIM blog reported today that BlackBerry Desktop Software will be coming to Mac in September.  This is a follow-up to the BlackBerry Media Sync that worked with Macs earlier this ear.  This version will work with the new BlackBerry Flagship device the BlackBerry Tour.

It will enable users to Sync iTunes playlists, calendars, contacts, notes and tasks. It will also help users to add ad remove applications;  updates, backup

and restore your device data with such features like automatically
scheduled backups and optional encryption and manage multiple devices

The BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac it will support Mac OS 10.5.5 and above.
