Verizon issued a news release today with all the features of the BlackBerry Tour spelled out. The release highlights the social networking features of the BlackBerry Tour on Facebook and MySpace and Flickr. They also promote instant messaging, email and the ability to use the BlackBerry Tour as a tethered modem.
They state, "Whether updating their Facebook( status,
chatting with friends over IM or listening to their favorite music,
Verizon Wireless customers can use their new BlackBerry Tour
smartphones to get the best wireless experience to suit their personal
or work lives."
Reviewers called the BlackBerry Tour the "best Verizon smartphone" and "no-brainer" for CDMA networks. Most of the features of the BlackBerry Tour were well-liked however all the reveiwers didn't like the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity.
