Deal Netbooks: Radio Shack Bests Best Buy with Free Netbook

arn_acer_lp_041409_p_netboo.jpgYesterday, we wrote about the 99 cent netbook from Best Buy.  Well,  RadioShack bested Best Buy by selling netbook for free with contract  Radio Shack is offering  the Acer Aspire One  for free with a two-year AT&T mobile broadband contract, which can be seen on the Radio Shack website.

The Acer Aspire has a 8.9" inch LED screen, webcam, 1GB memory, 160GB hard drive, Windows XP Home Operating System, Multi-in-one media card reader, 3 USB 2.0 ports, and 3-cell Li-ion battery for approximately 2.5 hours of power

The  AT&T's 3G mobile broadband will cost at least $60 a month. They are only available in stores is while supplies last only. Or you can pay $349.99 without the contract. They claim it is an unbeatable price.

The fine print on this one is very interesting:

Price requires credit approval, up to $36 activation fee and $175
early-termination fee.
Monthly access and other airtime charges and
taxes apply. DataConnect plan is not unlimited and substantial charges
can be incurred if the included usage is exceeded.
See
contract/brochure in store for details. Additionally, if you terminate
the carrier broadband network service within 90 days of activation, you
must return the device(s) purchased to RadioShack within 30 days of
termination to avoid a $200 charge for each device from RadioShack.
