In Palm Pre News, the Palm Pre will be sold in Europe, it's not as hard to get a Palm Pre nowadays and Wikipedia is mobilized for the Palm Pre.
The Palm Pre is headed for Europe. The Palm Pre is scheduled to be available at first in the UK, Ireland and
Germany exclusively on the O2 network, and in Spain exclusively on the
Movistar network, in time for the holidays. The European version support the super fast HSDPA than can be as fast as 14.0 Mbit/s.
An iGR report implied that Palm Pre sales were not as robust as reported. They contacted 50 stores:
None of the stores contacted had sold out of Palm Pre phones and the majority had
'plenty' available. This compares with 8 percent of the stores
contacted last week saying they had sold out of the Pre (down from 28
percent in Week 2 and 38 percent in Week 1). iGR's channel checks
clearly show that Sprint is meeting the current demand for the device
with the inventories available in the stores.
The report also noted that a quarter of the stores contacted say that most Palm Pre phones are being sold to new Sprint customers.
The new mobile version of Wikipedia supports
the Palm Pre in English and German with more planned. Palm Pre users are automatically directed to the mobile version.
In an unscientific Engadget Poll the iPhone 3GS is leading on their poll.
You have to enter the poll to see the results which as of today are:
It’s not even a contest — 3G S, baby!

Are you kidding? It’s gotta be the Pre.
The $99 iPhone 3G is just way too hard to pass up.
Come on! WinMo, Symbian, Android — all better options.
