There's new code and more calories in the next Android version when it grows from "Cupcake" to "Donut."
The updates to the next version of Android will have offer a new camera user interface and ability to work on CDMA phones like Verizon and Sprint.
Other features in Donut are integrated universal search, automatic device
backups, and more text-to-speech features. There are also
widgets fast contronl Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios.
There have also been reports that it may or may not have multitouch. The kind of touch that includes gesture
support. This allows some to draw a 'G' on screen instead of scrolling
through all the contacts to find names with 'G'. Text-to-speech support may allow Google Voice to be integrated into the Android phone..
The Donut update not be afull number update and isn't necessarily Android 2.0. Donut will use the 2.6.29 based code.
