While the T-Mobile skydiving team was jumping in San Francisco, the T-Mobile consumer BlackBerry Curve 8520 launched for T-Mobile.
The T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone comes in black or frost and offers email, messaging (IM, SMS, MMS) and popular social networking sites
(including Facebook and MySpace). It features a
full-QWERTY keyboard. Multimedia features include music, games and other
mobile apps for entertainment on the go.
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is a world phone, and also
has Wi-Fi for web browsing and Wi-Fi
calling. T-Mobile customers can continue to get great mobile coverage
and unlimited nationwide Wi-Fi calling with T-Mobile's Unlimited
HotSpot Calling service as well as unlimited nationwide calling to five
people with T-Mobile myFaves service.
BlackBerry Curve 8520 introduces an innovative
touch-sensitive optical trackpad. It is also the first
BlackBerry smartphone to feature dedicated media keys. This model does
not have cellular high-speed data access, therefore users will probably
prefer Wi-Fi access for this BlackBerry. The BlackBerry Curve 8520 sells for $129 through T-Mobile or $49 at Wal-Mart.
