HTC shipped more than 1 million HTC Magic smartphones, the Google Android smartphone known as the myTouch 3G in the United Sates, reported DigiTimes report citing HTC CEO Peter Chou.
The HTC Magic launched in Europe this spring and has just started sales in the United States as myTouch 3G on T-Mobile.
Chou also reported that 50 percent to 60 percent of the company's smartphone shipments in the second half of the year would be mid-range phones,
HTC launched another Android phone, the HTC Hero in Taiwan.
