Attention BlackBerry Storm lovers, RIM has launched a video contest that ends on October 27, 2009. It seeks BlackBerry Storm Evangelists to preach, teach and spread the word about BlackBerry Storm smartphones.
You share
your BlackBerry Storm smartphone "love" by uploading an original
video, photo with description or blog telling the world how much you
love your BlackBerry Storm smartphone. The prize is the Ultimate
New York Experience, a Las Vegas CES VIP Experience or $7,100.
The headline propounds, "Touch it. Love it. Share it. Win it."
The BlackBerry Storm had a rough start with decent to luke warm reviews. However, after the operating system was updated, reviewers proclaimed that the update "transformed the BlackBerry Storm into a quality, lovable device." Verizon recently reduced the price of the BlackBerry Storm to $49 and you if you buy one you can get one free. Meanwhile, Wirefly is offering the BlackBerry Storm for free for new contracts.
There are different levels of winning in this anybody could possibly win BlackBerry Storm contest.
Phase 1
- BlackBerry Storm Top 100 Evangelists:
The top 100 highest scoring eligible finalists from Phase 1 will be
named BlackBerry Storm Evangelists and will be automatically advanced
to Phase 2. - Most Viral: One winner, selected
by a panel of judges from BlackBerry from the top 200 Most Viral
entries, will win $500 cash and a swag bag of BlackBerry Storm products
and accessories including a Charging POD, a Pocket and a Premium
Multimedia Headset.
Phase 2
- Grand Prize:
One winner, selected by a panel of judges from BlackBerry from the top
20 highest scoring eligible entries as determined by user
participation, will win their choice of the Ultimate New York
Experience, a CES VIP Las Vegas Experience or $7,100.* - Top 20 BlackBerry Storm Evangelists:
After the Grand Prize winner is selected, the remaining top 20 highest
scoring entries will each win a swag bag of BlackBerry Storm products
and accessories including a Charging POD, a Pocket and a Premium
Multimedia Headset.
Enter online at the RIM website. Be sure to follow the rules which say:
”All
entries must be the original creation of the participant. Your entry
must be a video, captioned photo with a description or blog story
telling the world how much you love your BlackBerry Storm smartphone.
Videos must be no longer than 2 minutes and blogs must be no more than
1,000 words.”
