iPhone Apps 2Day: Background Check Your Date on Your iPhone with Sleaze Detector

net_worth_screenshot.jpgIntelius launched its Date Check mobile application today at DEMOfall 09. Now you can perform instant background checks on potential dates directly on an iPhone. Their moto is “Look-up before your hook-up.”

With only a name or cell phone number, the Date Check mobile application searches publicly available information to instantly provide an on-the-go background profile of new acquaintances.

Besides basic information like name, age and address, Date Check can be used to check popular social networking sites like LinkedIn for data on employment history and education records. The Sleaze Detector feature scans criminal records to determine if anyone matching that name has been charged with offenses such as drug possession, assault and battery, sex crimes and DUI, among others. The Net Worth function gives users information about assets that include property value, as well as ownership and home details.

You can also see who your date lives with. Names and ages of
relatives, associates & roommates living at search subject's
residence are shown.

The Date Check app includes top line info such as the number of criminal records associated with subject's name and states in their address history. Non-moving traffic violations are not included in court records, therefore we do not have access to them. Specific offense details (like offense type, offense date, case number, etc...see sample report below) are included in the paid report. Offense types include misdemeanors, felonies, DUI's, assault, theft, larceny, sex offenses and more. NOTE: Individuals must be convicted of an offense in order to appear in a court record.

The app is free to download, summary data is free fees for various in-depth reports follow;

  • $19.95 Single State Criminal.
  • $14.95 Property & Neighborhood.
  • $ 9.95 Social Net.
  • $ 1.95 People Search..

Date Check mobile for iPhone will be available for download at the Apple Store. Android and Blackberry versions of the application are scheduled to be released in October of this year.
