The Samsung Rogue  is one of the new Verizon phones that requires a data plan and also has an extra fee for email.  A possible drawback is that it doesn't sync contacts like most business smartphones do. Nicole Lee at CNET rated the Samsung Rogue 4 out of 5 excellent for its gorgeous OLED touchscreen display, 3.5 mm standard headset jack and voice dialing. The large slide-out QWERTY keyboard is great and the Samsung Rogue is full featured with a 3 mpx camera, 3G, GPS and HTML web browser with Flash Lite.  She didn't like the bulky size or poor video quality. Because it is a data-need feature phone it requires a data plan. The touchscreen with haptic feedback was also well-liked. The back of the phone has a self portrait mirror and camera lens with a textured grip battery cover. If want mobile email its $3.00 a month more. The music player and HTML browser were pleasant. The photo quality was very qood. They were impressed with the camera.

Noah Kravitz in his video unboxing of the Samsung Rogue noted that the Rogue has a handy setup wizard to setup your new phone. He liked that the touchscreen is combined with a keyboard. The resistive touchscreen worked well. The keyboard felt good. He had a really nice first impression.

Info Sync called the Samsung Rogue "and impressive phone" with a top notch screen and comfortable keyboard. Although it looked great, it performed poorly. The best features were it's AMOLED screen, camera and corporate email support. The social networking features are not reall apps, but just links to mobile or web pages. Call quality and messaging was good but it does not sync with computer or corporate contacts. The video was choppy while web browsing was good.
