Benjamin Tan, senior director, GCR Mobile Team Unit at Microsoft China told reporters in China, that there will be thirty new Windows Mobile smartphones launched with Windows Mobile 6.5 this year, according to DigiTimes.
Companies that will be launching WinMo phones are expected to be HTC (High Tech Computer), Acer, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics
(LGE), Sony Ericsson, Toshiba, and Hewlett-Packard (HP).
AT&T, Sprint Nextel, Verizon Wireless, Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone,
NTT DoCoMO, Softbank Mobile, SKT, Telstra and Telus, have also voiced
support for Windows Mobile 6.5, their sources told DigiTimes.
