Android Apps 2Day: RoadSync MS Exchange Sync for Android

RSv1_android_300x300.jpgDataViz announced that
their Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync client, RoadSync, is now
available for purchase in Android Market.

RoadSync provides secure,
wireless and direct push synchronization with Microsoft Exchange
Server and supports corporate e-mail, calendar, contacts and
attachments. The application has been in public beta for the past six
months and accumulated nearly 20,000 customers who helped solidify the
messaging solution on a variety of server configurations and
Android-based devices running 1.5 Cupcake and 1.6 Donut.

In addition to significantly enhancing end user productivity,
RoadSync simultaneously lowers IT costs by providing an easy to
implement mobility strategy which eliminates the need for middleware
servers and subscription fees.  Key features included in the
application are: HTML e-mail, messages flags, meeting accept/decline,
appointment reminders, a calendar widget, and full contact details
including photos.

With recently added support for the Exchange 2007
Auto-Discovery service, mobile professionals can quickly and securely
get up and running by simply entering their work e-mail address and
password. Furthermore, RoadSync can be combined with DataViz's
award-winning mobile office suite, Documents To Go® to provide
business professionals the ability to create, view, edit and send
important Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint® and Adobe PDF
attachments when on the go.

"This release marks an important milestone as we now have partners
and solutions for over 100 devices on five major platforms which
officially includes Android along with Symbian, Palm, Windows Mobile
and Java." said Bonnie Boyle, Business Manager, DataViz, Inc.  "We were
able to leverage our 10 years of mobile application experience in
bringing this enterprise grade messaging solution to this new, growing
market."
