Deals of the Weekend: Verizon Razzle and Moto Krave $19 Buy One Get One Free

It's nice to see texting/messaging feature phones to go on sale at Verizon. Verizon is running a deal right now, until October 12 with your choice of Verizon Razzle or Motorola Krave for $19.99. There is no activation fee from October 9 -12, and overnight shipping is free. This is one of the best deals, discounts and coupons that we have found for a Verizon texting phone. An added bonus was that you can buy one and get another one free.

Meanwhile, if you are BlackBerry fan, the Verizon Buy One Get One Free BlackBerry deal is still in affect.

The Verizon Wireless Razzle has a swivel at the bottom of the phone, on one side is a music player and 9onthe other is QWERTY keyboard
allowing you to text or make phone calls. The Razzle has V Cast Music with Rhapsody, VZ Navigator, a 1.3 megapixel camera, mobile web, Bluetooth, speaker phone and of course texting/IM/chat. The Verizon Razzle was originally slated to sell for $69.99 with a two-year contract.

The Motorola Krave really looks like a Star Trek communicator with a clear glass flip phone. Reviewers found the design innovative and the touchscreens on the outside and inside accurate. Where the Krave ZN4  excels is as mobile TV device and real conversation piece.  The screen is clear and vibrant. When it came out last year, it originally sold for $149.99 with a rebate.

A copy of the Verizon ad follows. This appears to be a very good deal if you don't need all the features of a smartphone but like to text and surf the web.
