include Twitter updates in Google search results. Bing is searching not only Twitter but Facebook also.

"We believe that our search
results and user experience will greatly benefit from the inclusion of
this up-to-the-minute data, and we look forward to having a product
that showcases how tweets can make search better in the coming months," wrote Google VP

They believe tweets are an interesting source of data about what is happening right now in regard to a particular topic.
The next time users search for something on Google that can be aided by a
real-time observation, say, snow conditions at a favorite ski
resort, users will find tweets from other users who are there and sharing
the latest and greatest information.

This kind of tweetable search could get very interesting and
scandalous, searching for date's name may show many others who are
dating the Tweeter.

Bing also announced at the Web 2.0 conference "that working with those clever birds over at Twitter, they
now have access to the entire public Twitter feed and have a beta of
Bing Twitter search for you to play with (in the US, for now."

Bing will also be searching Facebook and said they will "very careful
about making sure the correct data is streamed," because not all
Facebook data is public.
