Mobile Lexycasts Offer Audio Infotainmnet on NFL & College Football

Lexy2.jpgLexy announced the beta launch of their audios service that gives callers free on-demand audio clips to listen on phones by dialing 877-FYI-LEXY (877-394-5399) or by going to Lexy.com.

Listeners subscribe to brief interactive audio posts called "Lexycasts," created by knowledgeable people called "Lexycasters."

As part of this free service, Lexy is introducing "NFL on Lexy" and "College Football on Lexy" so sports fans can always keep up with their favorite teams anytime they want, from anywhere they want.

"We launched NFL and College Football Lexycasts so sports fans can have
on-the-go access to customized highlights from the people who really
know their teams," said Tony Levitan, Lexy Co-founder and Creator of
Chaos, who along with Lexy Co-founder and Creator of Substance, Fred
Campbell, launched the digital greetings industry when they founded
early Internet success, Egreetings.

"In addition to sports, listeners can select from thousands of Lexycasts, ranging from news updates to comedy bits, from food & wine advice to weather reports," said Levitan. "Individual posts are easy-to-digest, one-to-three minute segments hosted by an intriguing mix of well-known and up-and-coming figures we call 'Lexycasters.' There's no application to download, no files to sync. If you want what's important to you, when and where it's important to you ... Just call Lexy."

"NFL on Lexy" includes the "2-Minute Drill," a fast-moving wrap-up of the latest NFL action, as well as team-specific Lexycasts for all 32 NFL teams. The Lexycasters include some highly-regarded names in the sports industry. "New England Patriots Audio Minute," for example, is hosted by Boston sports legend, Jerry Trupiano, who also shares his years of sports industry insight in "The View from the Booth" sports commentary Lexycast. "Kansas City Chiefs Audio Minute" and the provocative "DUKE-ing It Out" commentary are products of Kansas City sports veteran, Duke Frye.

"Lexy gives you immediate access to the teams you care about," said Trupiano. "Whether you want a preview of the game, the halftime highlights, a post-game wrap-up, or a mid-week injury report, Lexy has you covered wherever you are and whatever you are doing. It's a great media source for all fans including the committed ones who are deep into fantasy football as well as ones scattered across the globe who seek timely access to news about their hometown teams."

"If you can make a phone call, you can use Lexy," said Frye. "While there are all sorts of ways to learn more about your favorite sports teams, nothing conveys the emotion and provides the impact of hearing people you trust tell you about the game and the players. Lexy has the pros covered and college football too, from Notre Dame to the resurgent University of Houston Cougars, from the Big 10 to the Pac 10."
