Dazzboard,
social media webtop, announced the: Dazzboard Android Universal Media
Management (UMM) that provides Android media access through the web.
Because it is web-centric, it works with all Android smartphones
including Droid, Droid Eris, myTouch 3G, Motorola CLIQ, HTC Hero,
Samsung Moment, Samsung Behold II, and T-Mobile G1.
The new Android system on Dazzboard allows users to push-and-pull data instantly between their portable Android phone and PC, or to move content directly from a device onto the social media.
With Dazzboard Android UMM, users can transfer iTunes music to their Android smartphone, upload content from their phone to social networks, download and transfer video to and from an Android phone and a PC, and much, much more. In addition to webtop access through dazzboard.com, users can opt to manage their Android through Dazzboard's iGoogle gadget or Facebook Dazzbaord app.
If you have Droid, there is a free Media Link syncing app available from Motorola.
"Google's Android technology is by far the most advanced, and takes mobile phones experience to the next level of innovation," commented Tero Salonen, CEO Dazzboard. "However, it is crucially important for the user experience to carry through onto the PC, and our new system provides the missing link."
Dazzboard currently supports Windows XP, Vista and 7, Internet Explorer version 6 (XP only), 7 and 8, as well as Firefox 3.X. The company will also release APIs for developers to integrate Dazzboard technology for external websites and develop add-ons to utilize the device connection.
