Droid Tops Record Black Friday/Weekend Cyber Monday Sales, Says Simplexity

Smartphones and touchscreens, including the new Motorola DROID and BlackBerry Bold 9700, were among the best sellers at Simplexity over the Black Friday, Weekend and Cyber Monday.  Simplexity says its websites including Wirelfy broke Black Friday and Cyber Monday records. On average, a phone was sold every seven seconds. Traffic was also at an all time high with nearly double the number of visitors compared to the same time last year.

"We started to see a significant increase in traffic to our sites as early as 10 pm Thanksgiving evening, which we attribute to our customers preparing to take advantage of our midnight sales. By mid-day on Black Friday, traffic had more than tripled in volume," said Andy Zeinfeld, Chief Executive Officer.

Droid by Motorola from Verizon Wireless The DROID by Motorola has gotten rave reviews. BlackBerry Storm2 9550 (Verizon Wireless)  This smartphone received good reviews is the next generation of the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm and has Wi-Fi radio and an improved SurePress typing system for more accurate and speedy text entry. Wirefly still has a great deal on the  BlackBerry Storm2 .
