PayPal launched a Send Money app for BlackBerry smartphone users to send money quickly to friends and family around the world from their PayPal accounts. The applications is free but you depending on the function, PayPal frees may be charged.

BlackBerry users can now send money to anyone in their contact list without having to enter new data.  Users can also easily stay on top of their finances by checking their recent history and account balance directly from their BlackBerry smartphone. Users send money in foreign currency.

The PayPal application is free to use and download from the BlackBerry App World and is available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Ireland, Portugal and Australia.
