bringing exclusive content to Green Day video platforms and giving
customers chances to win Green Day gear. Verizon is also offering free music for BlackBerry Tour and BlackBeerry Storm smartphones
Verizon
Wireless customers who own a BlackBerry Tour smartphone or BlackBerry
Storm smartphone can text "GD" to 5509 or log onto www.vcastlive.com/gd
on their smartphone's browser to start accessing the free music, which
includes full-length, live performance tracks of "21 Guns," "Last of
the American Girls" and "21st Century Breakdown," plus an "East Jesus
Nowhere" ringtone and exclusive Green Day wallpaper. Each song was
recorded at the legendary Studio 880, where Green Day has recorded
regularly since 2001.
Green Day Masher Contest
Verizon Wireless is bringing Green Day fans another interactive way to enjoy their favorite band. Fans can go to www.vcastlive.com
from now until Dec. 31 to test their mashing skills by remixing songs
from 21st Century Breakdown with the Green Day masher. The masher that
receives the most "props" for their mash at the end of the contest will
win a Green Day Rock Set that includes a guitar signed by Green Day
lead guitarist Billy Joe Armstrong, in addition to drummer Tré Cool's
box drum kit. Masher participants can also redeem a Green Day ringtone
of "East Jesus Nowhere."

and on Verizon FiOS TV Video on Demand (VOD).
Verizon Wireless, which
sponsored Green Day's first full North American tour in more than three
years, shot the video using thirteen high-definition cameras during the
band's Aug. 22 concert in Phoenix. Fans can relive the event with six
exclusive songs from the concert, including "Time of Your Life," "Know
Your Enemy," "Minority," "Jesus of Suburbia," "Brain Stew" and "21st
Century Breakdown."
Verizon Wireless customers with V CAST
Video-capable phones, including the BlackBerry® Storm™ smartphone, can
go to the Music section of V CAST Video and select "All the Best Music
Videos" then "Exclusives" to see the Green Day videos. Verizon FiOS TV
customers can access the content on VOD by pressing the "VOD" or "On
Demand" button on their FiOS remote control, by using the menu on FiOS
TV's Interactive Media Guide, or by selecting VOD channel 900.
