The Nexus One came into prominence over the weekend when Google employees leaked photos, Twitters tweeted and the Wall Street Journal reported that Google would sell a phone.
The Nexus One appears to look like the HTC Dragon/Passion. Its features include a Snapdragon 1GHz chip, 3.7-inch
AMOLED display, and a 5 megapixel camera. It runs the next version of Android 2.1 and comes loaded with Google Goggles and Google Navigation.
Engadget's latest photos the Nexus One Google phones shows no HTC branding or labeling. An analysis of the features and icons suggests its a 3D interface. The photo shows a new grid icon at the bottom of the
homescreen, when tapped shows a a preview of
all homescreen pages.
Reuters reported there are two versions of the phone. The unlocked one sold
by Google, and another the other with a two year T-Mobile contract. It will go on sale as early as January 5, 2010.
The FCC recently approved a new smartphone manufactured by HTC.. The FCC documents show that this device has 850/1900
GSM bands, and support for T-Mobile's 1700MHz 3G network. The phone supports hearing aids, a microSD card slot, Bluetooth, and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi.
Google employees will be having fun testing their Nexus One phone when they go to this Nexus site, browsing on a Nexus One, they are treated to a holiday themed
memory game. Everyone else gets redirected to the Android page. According to Android Guys, you can play the game by is changing your browser's user agent to say
"Nexus One." You can setup it up using Firefox and
its "User Agent Switcher" add-on.
Along with suspected specs, there are speculators on Android Guys, someone commented that the Nexus One will sell for $199 with a $100 discount for using Google CheckOut. Nexus One users can buy prepaid data from AT&T or T-Mobile and will be able to be make VoIP calls via Google Voice on data SIMs.

Boy Genius reported that the Nexus One could be sold in retail stores such as Best Buy The latest phot shows that the Nexus One Google Phone is a lot thinner than the T-Mobile G1.
Others think the whole Nexus One story is a hoax, which is ridiculous, because Google filed a Trademark with the U.S. Trademark office for Nexus One on December 10.
