&8@#$%! Google Cleans Out Swear Words on Voice Tanscriptions with #####

GoogleNexusOneAds.jpgReuters reported that on the Google Nexus One, during voice transcription in any field on the superphone curse words do not appear. The word is replaced by #####(pound signs). It has been reported that even the verancular BS, the S is turned into a #. This could easily be edited via the onscreen keyboard and turned into the "real" words is necessary.

The Google Nexus One has the latest version of the Android operating system and phones that are update to the newer version will have the capability for voice dictation in all text fields.

The Google Nexus One had received fab first looks, and then well "issues" appeared with long waits for email support and touchiness with the touchscreen. However HTC does offer  live-US-staffed 888 number tech support. Web banner ads contend that the Nexus One wallpaper has sentience.  The sentience of the word cleaner, we guess is probably to avoid problems with business emails and messages  A Google spokesman gave this answer.

"We filter potentially offensive or inappropriate results because we
want to avoid situations whereby we might misrecognize a spoken query
and return profanity when, in fact, the user said something completely
innocent," said Google in satement.

"Ultimately our goal is to return results that show exactly what you
said, and we're constantly working to improve the technology to better
fit our users' needs," the statement propounded. We assumed there were #### in the PR response.
