Google Nexus One T-Mobile Outage - Over and Out : Reboot

sadandhappynexusOne2.gifEarlier today, Friday, there were reports of network connections problems with the Google Nexus One supertphone.  We have a review unit of the Nexus One, and we have not experience problems.  It is now working and surfing the web fine.

If you are experiencing connections problems with T-Mobile on your Nexus One, it is reccomended that shut your phone completely off and then rebooot it.

Posts in Google support forums noted, "We're aware of reports with T-Mobile data connections, including the
error: 'To connect to the Internet with the device you are using,
you'll need a webConnect data plan.' We're currently working with
T-Mobile to resolve this issue."

Problems were reported in New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore, Austin, Phoenix and San Francisco.

Around 11 a.m. PST, Google posted: "The problem experienced by some users with T-Mobile data
connections has been resolved. If you are still having trouble
establishing a connection please power down your Nexus One, then turn
it back on."

T-Mobile said "Some Nexus One customers
have experienced issues with their T-Mobile data connection. This issue
has been resolved. Customers affected by this issue need to restart
their Nexus One device to restore their data connection."

We reported earlier that Google Nexus One software fix is in the works for network "issues."

The Google Nexus One had received fab first looks,
and then well "issues" appeared with long waits for email support and
touchiness with the touchscreen. However HTC does offer  live-US-staffed 888 number tech support. It was recently reported that voice transcriptions on the the Nexus One removes swear words. Web banner ads contend that the Nexus One wallpaper has sentience.
