Verizon Android Market Channel on Droid Features Fun and Useful Apps

android_market.jpegPreviously, Verizon announced some of their favorite apps, some of which appeared on Wireless and Mobile News' Top Best Coolest Android an' Droid Apps. Now, Verizon would like Droid users to check out the Verizon Channel on Android Market.

"We're thrilled that there are thousands of app that customers can
discover in the Android Market," said Verizon spokeswoman Debra Lewis,
"The Verizon Channel highlights the app we hope our customers will
find fun and useful on their Droids. "

Lewis notes that Verizon also hopes to make the app discovery process easier.

Verizon's Android smartphones were well-reviewed. The Droid by Motorola has received excellent reviews. The Droid Eris by HTC has also gotten great reviews, however, the Verizon Android Market channel is not available on the Droid Eris.
