We received some gaff from our observation that the Palm Pre on Sprint and the Palm Pre Plus on Verizon are liked more by women.
We don't make those things up. We we were at the big launch at a Hollywood studio for the original Palm Pre, we noticed the staff were woman that they had heavily tested the Palm Pre for woman's use. In fact, Palm actually studied focus groups of woman. Also just in our daily lives, we have women friends, and have found women who like the Palm Pre more than men. Let's face we are round and like round things like babies...
Also we noticed that the "boy bloggers" really did not like the Palm Pre as much as female reviewers did.
The latest commercial for Verizon, shows a how a mom will like a Palm Pre Plus. It says, "It's smart enough for mom."
Yes it is a lot better than sticky notes. The calendar synergy feature
is nice for one person but just think of how much work it would save
for a soccer mom with 2 kids who can only check her schedule from the
dugout.
The Palm Pre Plus received good reviews and can be operated one hand. The Palm Pre Plus sells for $149.99 after a rebate with a voice
and data plan contract. Verizon is offering a buy Palm Pre Plus get a
free Palm Pixi deal until February 14.
