Microsoft Tag is now offering their tag Reader for Google Android - from the Android Market. It's a 2D barcode reader that already worked Windows Mobile, J2ME, iPhone, Blackberry and Symbian S60 phones.
On your mobile phone, snap or scan a Tag image anywhere you see it - in editorials, advertisements, product packaging, signs and storefronts to gain instant access to websites, videos, reviews, schedules, contact information, social networks, discounts and promotions.
The Microsoft Tag blog noted that they wanted to give more people access to Tag because there's huge demand for reliable mobile barcoding - businesses and consumers are eager to find creative ways to use their phone and hyperlink the real world.
GMR Marketing chose Microsoft Tag to interactive enable the exhibits for the Best Buy Live Mobile Tour.
