Android, BlackBerry, iPhone Apps 2Day: Getfugu Gets Tickets

getfugu_about.pngGetfugu,  mobile search tool, announced that they have added a new feature for its popular mobile search tool
called "Get Tickets."

Getfugu users can search and
purchase tickets directly on their mobile phone by simply saying the
name of the event into their phone.

For example, a user could ask for
events like Lakers (by saying "Lakers Tickets") or concerts (by saying
"Bon Jovi tickets"). Getfugu's Get Tickets application will provide
dates, times, specify the venue and even tell the consumer how many
tickets are available for purchase.

"This is the
first in a long line of new services we are bringing to Getfugu. The
objective is to put information about these events in the hands of the
consumer and give them a chance to attend," said Rich Jenkins, Getfugu
co-founder and business development executive. "Currently purchasing a
ticket on a mobile phone is a painful process. First, a user would need
to perform a Google search for a website for the venue and search for
event or calendar for a schedule. Then after finding the number for the
box office, call and inquire about available tickets. Who would want to
pursue such a laborious process?"

Getfugu is already
available on several major platforms, including iPhone, BlackBerry,
J2ME and Android. Getfugu is a revolutionary new mobile search tool
that is designed to work agnostically on the majority of the world's
leading phone platforms. The key consumer services: 'See It,' 'Say It' and 'Get It'
integrate the phones' core technologies into a single easy-to-use tool.
Consumers simply point their phone's camera at a logo (or photo) or
speak the brand into the microphone to reach content.

The Getfugu application is available for free download at http://www.getfugu.com.
