RIM has made production changes to update Verizon's BlackBerry Storm2. It appears the changes are to improve "touchpad performance and tactile issues." Verizon Wireless is returning their old BlackBerry Storm2 stock for the improved BlackBerry Storm2.
"There is no value in us selling our customers phones with problems,
we want customers to walk out satisfied with the device they purchase,"
said Verizon spokeswoman Brenda Raney, "Our standard policy
on any device we sell is for a customer to bring it back if they have a
problem and we'll determine the appropriate action."
The
BlackBerry
Storm2 comes with the latest BlackBerry operating
system OS 5.0. The BlackBerry Storm2 features new SurePress "clickable"
display technology
and built-in Wi-Fi, 480 x 360 display at 184 ppi.
The BlackBerry
Storm2 has received
good reviews
and is an improvement over the first version. Where it really excels

faster JavaScript and CSS processing as well as support for Gears and
