Another Windows Phone has sold-out, shortly after it became available; the HTC HD2 is Out-of-Stock online and very hard to find in T-Mobile stores. Some online stores such as Wirefly are still selling the HTC HD2 with free shipping and no activation fee.
Our local T-Mobile rep told us that 13,000 stores have sold-out of the HTC HD2. Many stores sold-out during the first day of sale. Others are getting daily limited shipments. Wirefly, however, has not sold-out their supply yet.
The HTC HD2 has a 4.3-inch WVGA multitouch screen and 1GHz
Snapdragon processor running Windows Phone 6.5 (aka Windows Mobile)
topped off with the HTC TouchFlo 3D.
The HTC HD2
smartphone also has GPS functionality with turn-by-turn directions from
TeleNav
GPS Navigator, a pre-installed 16 GB microSD card, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and
a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with dual LED flash. The virtual
keyboard will use Swype predictive wording.

HD2 has been very popular and is currently sold out in many
locations. We are working as quickly as we can to secure additional
inventory. We will post updates here on when additional inventory will
be available.Some Retail stores may still have inventory. If you
live near a
T-Mobile location, you can contact them to see if they have inventory
remaining. We
suggest you contact stores via phone before visiting to see if they have
inventory on hand. If they do not have inventory, they should be able
to take your name and notify you when they have stock in stores.
We checked at 1:00 pm PST on Friday at online superstore Wirefly and discovered they still have the HTC HD2 available, for $99 for new customers and and $199 for renewing customers with no activation fee.
