Zagg introduced at the International CTIA
WIRELESS
show in Las Vegas, Nevada, two new forms of personal electronics
protection, ZAGG LEATHERSKINS and invisibleSHIELD Dry.
ZAGG LEATHERSKINS is a thin, pliable case
that applies directly to
personal electronics like a film, but is created from genuine
leather.
Available in both typical leather shades and various colors, ZAGG
LEATHERSKINS uses an adhesive that holds in place on the device
but can
be removed and repositioned if necessary. ZAGG LEATHERSKINS is
isexpected to ship in the second quarter of 2010.
The invisibleSHIELD Dry is a protective
film made from the same
material as the original invisibleSHIELD, and engineered to be
clearer,
smoother to the touch, and applies without the need for fluid.
Offered
as a screen cover design, the invisibleSHIELD Dry provides the
same
protective qualities as the original invisibleSHIELD. This product
is
still under development and is expected to ship in 2010.
“We are excited to present these new
products, which bring creative and
interesting options to our flagship invisibleSHIELD line of
protective
films,” said Derek Smith, vice president of sales of ZAGG. “The
invisibleSHIELD Dry and ZAGG LEATHERSKINS will appeal to a broad
range
of new and existing customers.”
ZAGG introduced the film products at a
media event at CTIA this past
Monday.
