Android an’ Droid News: Verizon Nexus One Deal Nixed for Droid Incredible

NexusOnesuggestion.JPGThere will be no Verizon version of the Nexus One super smartphone sold directly by Google. The Nexus One order page and blog suggests that Verizon Nexus One buyers by the Droid Incredible instead.

"In the US, if you've been waiting for the Nexus One for Verizon Wireless' network, head over to Verizon to pre-order the Droid Incredible by HTC, a powerful new Android phone and a cousin of the Nexus One that is similarly feature-packed," appears on the Nexus One blog.

Google's endorsement of the Droid Incredible comes after they ended their online-only sales plan for the Nexus One in Europe, there Vodafone will sell the Nexus One smartphone in retail stores.

The HTC Droid Incredible (Android) (Verizon) has spectacular specs, 8 mpx camera, 1 GHz processor, tethering as modem, optical sensor, Android Eclair 2.1, HTC Sense. The Droid Incredible has gotten rave reviews  has similar features to the Nexus One with the added bonues of a higher resolution camera and trackpad.

Google will not provide any more fixes for 3G glitches-fixes. The Nexus One has veen profitable for Google.

The Nexus One  received a high-powered update with new features including multi-touch in the browser and maps.  It now has voice to text filling in fields as well as turn-by-turn navigation.

The Google Nexus One received excellent reviews, and then "issues" appeared with long waits for email support and touchiness with the touchscreen, which have been fixed.
