Android Incredible News Leaks: HTC Incredible Specs Incredible with Tethering Due 4/25 or 29

Android Incredible News Leaks: HTC Incredible Specs Incredible with Tethering Due 4/25 or 29In the incredible quest for figuring out Verizon news releases, the spies are churning emails, leaked ads and other morsels suggesting a release date for the super Android HTC Incredible on either April 25 or April 29. We don't know how it happened but a very legitimate user manual has surfaced for the HTC Incredible.

We scanned most of the entire 206 page Verizon manual for the HTC Incredible. The HTC Incredible does look like the photos we've seen with a sculpted back. The HTC Incredible has an 8  megapixel auto-focus camera with video capture.  There is an entire page on Tethering, which means you can use the HTC Incredible as modem (HTC Sync must be installed.)

Instead of being called a trackpad the optical sensor which is not a trackball is called an optical joystick. The previous specs we mentioned in articles are about the same. The HTC Incredible has  Bluetooth, GPS, a digital compass, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm audio jack and 1 Ghz processor. The screen is same size as the Nexus One 3.7 inches AMOLED touch-sensitive screen with 480 X 800 WVGA resolution

The screen unlock function has an added security feature, we did not notice on the Google Nexus One, you can make up a screen unlock pattern. There is also a special feature called "Friend Stream."
Android Incredible News Leaks: HTC Incredible Specs Incredible with Tethering Due 4/25 or 29The HTC Incredible comes loaded with HTC Sense bringing all contacts and social networkihng toghether. There's a People screen that gives access to all contacts on your phone, including Google contacts,Exchange ActiveSync contacts, Phone contacts, and Facebook contacts. There's a pre-loaded Twitter widget.

Our favorite warning in the HTC Incredible manual is the Data plan warning, "If you're on a standard data plan, the costs could really add up. Switching to a flat-rate plan could be a lot cheaper."

HTC Sync looks like it is very handy, when selected, the phone automatically uses HTC Sync when connected to your computer and lets you synchronize Outlook and Windows Address Book (Outlook Express), contacts and calendar events between your computer and your HTC Incredible. It will also use MS Active Sync. The HTC Incredible comes with Verizon Backup Assistant, which automatically backs contacts to an online server.

You can also take a look at your photos and your friends' photos that are on your social networks (Facebook and Flickr only). You can view YouTube and PDF files.

The HTC Incredible has Google Navigator with turn-by-turn directions and all the all the recent updates.
