This week the number of iPad apps has skyrocketed there were almost too many to digest. So we rounded them all up for you to review in this article. Here are the latest iPad app announcements:
textPlus app - gives iPad users the ability to send and receive text messages using WiFi. The textPlus App for iPad also allows texting conversations to transition seamlessly between a user's iPad and another mobile device with textPlus installed, such as an iPhone or iPod touch. A text conversation initiated on the iPhone can be picked up later - without disrupting the flow - on the iPad, and vice versa.
PBS KIDS SUPER WHY! app for iPad -- based on the award-winning preschool series from Out of the Blue Enterprises. The app is designed to take advantage of iPad's larger screen and Multi-Touch user interface to enhance the educational experience, helping children achieve the power to read with four SUPER WHY! interactive literacy games.
ABC Player app extends the reach of ABC.com's full episode player onto the iPad. iPad users will have the ability to watch free, ad-supported episodes from approximately 20 popular ABC series through a WiFi connection. The application will also allow iPad users to purchase downloads of episodes via the iTunes store.
Disney Online iPad version. Disney.com that focuses on
exclusive video content. iPad videos featured at launch include new
scenes from highly-anticipated Disney films "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"
and "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," full-episodes of popular
Disney Channel and Disney XD series "Hannah Montana," "Wizards of
Waverly Place," "Suite Life on Deck" and "Phineas & Ferb," and a new
Muppets music video, "Stand by Me."
USA TODAY Access to the App will be free until July 4, 2010

Netflix iPad, free for existing Netflix memberships. It offers unlimited viewing, catalog browsing and queue management. Users can watch the video on the iPad wherever they left off on their TV or computer.
Truphone, the global mobile operator offers Apple iPad customers the ability to make voice calls. The company's VoIP application turns the tablet-sized device into a mobile phone that offers free or low-cost international calls, as well as advanced Instant Messaging features that integrate a user's contacts from across multiple IM networks.
As the iPad launches you don't want to forget the first moon landing which was completed without an iPhone or iPad:
