Microsoft announced the new KIN Windows Phones designed for young hip social-networkers, for the "ultimate social experience that blends the phone,
online services and the PC with new experiences called Loop, Spot and Studio."
Although the KINs are touted as "everyting rolled into one awesome packgage" the operating system based on Windows Phone will not allow Window Phone Apps to work. The KIN experience is for the KIN app family not outsiders allowed.
You can become friends with KIN on Facebook where you'll see a journey of girl who tries to find out if her social networking friends are really her friends.
Some Facebook Wall Comments:
"i think im falling
in love with the kin 2!!!! kindred sprits? lol"
KIN wrote "When you share through the KIN Spot, you get
to choose how your friends get it. It could be through SMS, MMS,
E-Mail, Facebook, Twitter... So, no your friends don't have to have a
KIN phone, but why wouldn't they :).
Rosa goes on trip to meet her social friend, they are kind of stereotypical, especially the nerd guy.
30 a month for the data plan... If it does I just might buy the phone
full price and go to Sprint."
